Thomas Ryan
Thomas (Tom) is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of management
experience across a number of industries. He started his career at KPMG Peat
Marwick, a Big 4 international accounting, tax and consulting firm where he earned his
CPA license. His specialty there was in the lending and leasing activities of large
financial services firms. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public
Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Following public accounting Tom spent many years in high tech start up
environments in a number of disciplines, leading traditional finance and accounting
activities as well as tax, treasury, human resources, investor relations, purchasing,
manufacturing, shipping and inventory management.
Most recently Tom spent the last eight years heading accounting and finance for a
Forbes 400 family office embedded within the national commercial real estate firm of
which it was the majority stakeholder. There he was responsible for approximately 65
entities and roughly $1.5 billion of assets under management.
Tom enjoys live music, hiking, spending quiet time with his family and his golden
retriever Zoe.
